Herb Davison of Hedliner Power Boats in Sherwood Park, Alberta supervised the build of this custom 23’ aluminum boat. 102” beam, 7 degree Delta-V hull with reverse chine, 28 degree bow rise, 3/16” hull covered with 1/4” protector plate, approx 20” draft when stopped.
Full instrumentation, all navigation lights, Uniden VHF radio, 8’ Shakespeare 6db antenna, Garmin 410C fish finder, Sprint 600 windlass, 200’ rode with anchor, two 750 gph bilge pumps, 26 gallon fresh water bladder with pump, galley w/ sink, portable stove, portable head, sleeps 3.
Approx 6.5’ headroom in cabin, fully covered and enclosed rear deck with 6.5’ headroom. Two 30” Scotty manual downriggers, port and starboard. Handrail around aft portion of boat, kicker mounting plate.
Powered by Chevrolet 300 h/p 350 built by ProStock of Edmonton. Internally balanced and blueprinted, marine cam, aluminum heads, marine starter, 100 amp marine alternator, engine compartment blower, 12v starter battery, 12v d/c battery for interior circuits, two 26 gal fuel tanks, Berkeley jet drive with Ultraflex controls.
Custom-built trailer, two 3500 lb axles with brakes and LED lights.
Although this boat is a work in progress it is fully seaworthy, fully functional and fully useable as is. It has spent time on lakes, rivers and the Pacific Ocean. Some minor things still to be done but it is about 90% – 95% complete.
